I didn't expect this today.
Dan Holloway has nominated me as one of the Best of Young British Writers over on Workshy Fop. Workshy Fop's take on the Granta list.
It is an honour to be mentioned and to be in such great company. I have yet to explore the other writers (time, a lack of it, is still an issue!), but I trust Dan's judgements and just from the paragraphs Dan has written about the other writers I recommend you take a look yourself. I feel excited about their work and about where my own writing is currently at. More about my own writing another time. For now explore and read away.
Yes! An endorsement from Dan is certainly worth having and is well-deserved. Will pop in at Workshy Fop. Congratualtions :)
